 Arrival into York Train Station after experiencing a first class LNER carriage. Get personally met and escorted to The York Grand, Yorks luxurious five star hotel. Your luggage will be stored by The Grands concierge team and taken to your rooms prior to your check in.

12PM – 2PM

Join the Festive Canapes Cookery Class, in The Cookery School at The Grand. Based in York’s finest hotel, The Cookery School at The Grand opened in March 2019 and offers express, half, full-day and parent & child courses focussing on a selection of International cuisines and speciality classes. Led by Cookery School Director, Marc Williams, the Cookery School is designed for novice and aspiring chefs, with classes inspired by cuisine from around the world. Not only is our cookery school the perfect setting for leisure guests, but it’s also set to add a dynamic and immersive element to conference and events for our business clientele. Our Express Class provides two hours of learning and development as you master making Festive Canapes, before sitting down to enjoy them with a glass of wine or soft drink.

3PM

You will join a tour at The York Dungeon experience, this brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages and scenes. It is a highly sensory experience with dark spaces, jump scares, loud noises, flashing/strobe lights, pungent smells, water sprays, air blasts and jump scares.

4PM

You will be escorted to Yorks Christmas Market. The city is transformed into a wonderland of glittering lights and Christmas music while the city’s markets are filled with stalls selling Christmas gifts and seasonal treats. The Shambles Markets and Parliament Square are lined with wooden, alpine style chalets all beautifully decorated for Christmas. You will return to The Grand at your leisure. Return to The Grand to freshen up in your Classis bedroom. Use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym is also available.
